However, I am sad to say, my cowplant just died from starvation. Its Time for Another Round of SimTogether - Come Join Us Click here to find out more.
To properly care and maintain a healthy cow plant, you can feed them once every 6 sim hours. This does indeed mean that by the time the cake lure is out, it is starving and ready for a large meal(a sim). Either that or it has 12 sim hours to lure in an unsuspecting victim. I did find that if I held off for 10 - 12 sim hours, I could feed it twice in a row. Whether this has any lasting effects(drawing out meals) on longevity, Im unsure of, but the minimum waiting time is 6 sim hours between feedings. Also, I couldnt help but notice the Wiki stated theyre no longer potted with the release of Sims 4. This is not true. Bring them inside and a pot will appear under your cow plant. Now. Given that you can interact with the cow plant, there are two things I wish were in the Sims 4 regarding cow plants. One, I wish interacting with them boosted your Social needs(or at least allow us to talk with it like we can with other plants for our social needs). I havent been dabbling with the Sims 4 cow plants for long, but couldnt help but notice that some still werent too clear on time frames regarding feeding. I have had as much as two cowplants at one time in my sims garden, and about a dozen or so more cowplant berries in their inventory. Is there a trick to getting it to feed before the cake comes out. I do tend to repeatedly offer throughout the day, though, because I heard that theyre a little sensitive, and it seems mine takes one every six hours. Based on the 12 hours cake, and then 24 hours death thing, it sounds like they made that the same across all players. My sim has fed at, say 9:45am and tried again at 3:44pm and it wouldnt eat, then try again and it would eat. You mean people actually bother to keep it fed to prevent the cake lure But thats my main source of delicious essence milk, and my favourite way of getting rid of those mooching neighbours. Yeah, part of me wishes they didnt have to eat a sim for milk, but then that would ruin the morbidity of the Cow Plant that I love so much.:) The Sim that has my cow plant is a geeky hermit the lives with her parents and only comes out of the attic for work and blasting off into space, lol, so the cow plant doesnt really have any suitable victims. Except rude guests. I am working on having Yoda give me another, though, so it can placed on the front lawn, be tended by her mother, and I get to laugh at sims being killed by an adorable cow plant. When you can, take a cutting from the snapdragon and graft it on the strawberry plant for dragonfruit. Grow a dragonfruit plant, and graft a cutting from it on the snapdragon to get a plant that can grow cow berries And then comes the part where you can fill entire lots with cowplants and have your whole neighbourhood disappear one by one. Lol RonaldtheWizard I can just imagine that scene of vanishing townsfolk. Can we place cowplants on community lots Not that I would consider that (oh no.heh) but it might be interesting:) alt:) height20. Take some camping gear with you and your Sim can just sleep there while they maintain the plants health.
